Ginger Ale Grapefruit Salad
serves 8


1 small package lemon gelatin
¼ cup granulated sugar
½ cup boiling water
½ cup grapefruit juice
1 cup ginger ale
2 cups canned or fresh grapefruit sections
Maraschino cherries
Mayonnaise


Stir together the sugar and the gelatin. Then dissolve them in the boiling water.
Once dissolved stir in the grapefruit juice and ginger ale.
Place the grapefruit pieces into a mold and pour over the gelatin. Chill until set.
Garnish with maraschino cherries and mayonnaise.
Serve with mayonnaise.
